Day 1: Fes –Ifrane –Azrou -Ziz Valley &Merzouga
When eating breakfast at the city of FES we will go through Atlas Mountains driven by a local guide in our 4×4 vehicle via the best mountains chains in Morocco until we arrive to IFRAN, this city known as Switzerland of Morocco, nearly to FEZ city. Ifrane attracts many visitors with its waterfalls, green nature, and European character they may come to skiing or sniping. Our thrilling trip continues, but this time through the Cedar forest to Azrou that situated in the heart of the Middle Atlas, for about 89km south the city of Fez, Azrou is named due to the word AZROU, an AMAZIGH word that means STONE, this explains the existence of three stones that made the cities of Atlas a tourist city par excellence, we mention: Stone of the city of Azrou, it is in the entrance of the city, overlook and control, at its summit a large crown that appears from afar. This stone is also known as AKASHMIR. You can also, visit the cedar tree (the largest) Strategic, geographic location Butterflies and rare birds also we can see the monkeys behind the route. Afterwards taking the way to Midelt, that is famous on producing apples, we will discover its monuments enjoying its charming weather continuing our way to visit the monstrous Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, amused the view of the High Atlas Mountains viewing Tafilalt Oasis. Until we reach the city of Errachidia that we are going to have a lunch in enjoying Berber hospitality. Moreover we will pass through the rich Ziz Valley, stopping at various stations to relish the view and take pictures en route to Erfoud and Rissani; ERFOUD the capital city of fossils that organize the DATES SEASON yearly, and RISSANI, Sijilmassa once upon time. In the evening, we will find ourselves at Merzouga Desert, where we will be welcoming by a glass of mint tea before riding on camels with a local specialiste camel man to the highest dunes to watch a unique sunset experience. Dinner will be served in our desert camp Rissani, window of the desert!
Day 2: Erg Chebbi to Fes
In your last day your camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise ever climbing the sand to experience sunrise at Merzouga that is a unique experience which is so often embedded in the minds of our visitors. Afterwards you will return to MERZOUGA loving the special beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with their colors as the day progresses.. After breakfast and hot shower we will drive to Fes passing through Erfoud and Errisani, capitals of fossil reaching Errachidia along the great Ziz Gorges and through the TiziNtalghamt to go to Midelt. Moreover, we will stop at Zaida to esteem a grill and revive with a glass of mint tea before moving to Azrou. It is a Berber town in the heart of Atlas Mountains. There where we will stop to see the Barbarian gorillas in the cedar forest, the greatest forest in Morocco. At that point we filed up with a visit from Fes to Ifrane called the Switzerland of Morocco, ceasing for a photo or a drink before ending our tour dropping you off at the airport.
