Your adventure begins at 7:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech. Travel through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,165m), a scenic route with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, lush valleys, and traditional Amazigh villages. Make a stop at panoramic viewpoints to capture the beauty of the region.
By 11:00 AM, arrive in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, but continue your journey towards Agdez, a town offering a spectacular view of the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm grove. Enjoy a delicious lunch in Agdez before heading towards Zagora, one of the oldest southern Moroccan cities.
Continue through Tamgroute, famous for its traditional green pottery workshops and ancient Quranic library. From here, you will reach M’hamid El Ghizlane, the last town before the Sahara begins. Get ready for an unforgettable camel ride (1.5 hours) into the golden dunes of Chegaga, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunset.
Upon arrival at the luxury desert camp, relax and enjoy a traditional Berber dinner. Later, gather around the campfire for an Amazigh music performance under the starry desert sky. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of shooting stars!
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, embark on a thrilling quad biking experience (1.5 hours) across the desert before meeting your driver.
Head back to Ouarzazate, where you will visit Atlas Studios, Africa’s largest film studio, known for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Next, explore the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed fortress and one of Morocco’s most famous landmarks. A local guide will take you on a fascinating tour of the kasbah’s history and architecture.
After lunch, visit the stunning Kasbah Telouet, once the residence of the powerful Glaoui family. On the way back to Marrakech, stop at a women’s cooperative, where you can learn about argan oil production and shop for authentic Amazigh products.
